It's 2017 and Arts For All is full swing!
Before Winter Break, Literacy Through the Arts (LTA) students at PS 15 shared their work from the fall with other grades. They treated each other to dances, a song and puppet show about bugs, and a poem brought to life. LTA is now back to work at PS 15 and Hamilton Heights. Kindergarten classes are learning about making a band, while 1st and 2nd graders are working on variations of The Paper Bag Princess and Cinderella, respectively.
Artistic Residency Programs are in the works. Students at Weeksville Elementary in Brooklyn have started dance classes while PS 69 students in Staten Island are continuing their visual arts and making storybooks which they started before the winter break.
The semester is still early, so we have several more programs coming and we can't wait!
Thank you once again for your continued support of our mission. Without your help, we would not be able to reach thousands of under-served New York City children with our accessible arts programs.
