Dear Friend,
For many transgender and gender-diverse people, finding help is only the first step. The greater challenge is navigating what comes next.
At Arianna’s Place, we continue to see community members facing multiple barriers at once, from accessing affirming healthcare and HIV prevention services to finding stable housing, updating legal documents, or simply knowing where to turn when a system feels overwhelming.
That is why our work continues to grow beyond referrals. We are building pathways that help people move from an immediate need toward greater stability.
In recent months, our team has strengthened HIV testing and prevention efforts, connecting individuals to testing, PrEP, treatment, and ongoing care through trusted community and healthcare partners. We continue to help community members navigate legal name and gender-marker changes, access emergency housing and essential resources, and connect with education, workforce, and other services that can create longer-term opportunities.
Most importantly, we meet people where they are.
Sometimes that means helping someone understand their healthcare options. Sometimes it means walking alongside a person through a complicated referral process. Other times, it is simply being the trusted person on the other end of the phone when someone does not know where else to turn.
Every one of these moments matters.
Our growing partnerships throughout South Florida are helping us create a stronger network of affirming care so that community members are not left trying to navigate disconnected systems alone. Instead of simply handing someone a phone number, our goal is to help make sure the connection actually happens.
Your support through GlobalGiving helps make this possible. It allows us to respond to immediate needs while continuing to build programs and partnerships that create lasting change.
There is still much work ahead, but every person connected to care, every barrier removed, and every individual who feels supported reminds us why this work matters.
Thank you for continuing to stand with our community and helping us turn access into opportunity, stability, and hope.
