Challenge

Assist the victims of the Abruzzo earthquake which caused 228 deaths, with at least 1,500 people seriously injured and more than 25,000 homeless.

Solution

The Slow Food network is helping to provide hospitality and basic necessities across the region to those who have been worst hit by the earthquake. An assessment is underway with collaborating organizations to develop longer-term projects.
