Hello
Today we want to share with you some important information about Mental health in people with HIV
Although children represent only 4% of all people living with HIV, 13% of AIDS-related deaths occur in this group.
In children who live with HIV, HIV infection and related opportunistic infections can affect the brain and nervous system. This can cause changes in the way a person thinks and behaves. Additionally, some medications used to treat HIV may have side effects that affect a person's mental health.
With this project we can promote integral attention including hard skills and soft skills, psychological attention and psychiatric attention in the cases that requires.
All our beloved children receive psychological and psychiatric attention with your contributions they can have better live conditions and prevent depressions and achieve undetectability, this process represent possibilities of no transmission of the HIV.
All of them assist to private and specialized School where they attend their academic needs and learn more than in a public institution, in this school they share spaces with other children with special needs.
