The benefits of a study abroad opportunity have long-lasting effects on a student: renewed interest in lifelong learning, improved foreign language skills, increased marketability & new perspectives.
The girls will be given the opportunity to study abroad in a foreign country with hopes of their being able to use their foreign language skills. This experience will allow them to be able to gain independence abroad, but also acquire important skills which in the future can allow them to be more competitive in the globalized economy.
The girls will be encouraged to explore the new lifestyle and new culture that a foreign country can offer. They will be expected to document their travels by using photographs and their flip cameras provided for them by previous workshops. Once the
