By Dhananjay Dixit | Project Leader

ISKCON Prayagraj organized 2 Anti Addiction events for over 2,500 youths from various schools and colleges across Prayagraj. With the objective of creating a Stress Free and Addiction Free youth community, these events created Awareness for Anti Addiction, communicated Positve Values and Inspiration through eminent personalities to the youth community through the medium of entertainment with International Rock Band performance, Drama, Music, Motivational Talks and Speed Painting performances.

Serving a strong message in a relevant manner the program was very much liked and appreciated by students, teachers, guests and parents. Conducted in AMA Convention Center and IIIT Allahabad auditoriums, the programs 3 hour each attracted in total around 2,500 participants.

Performances included NAMROCK Band from US, Drama on Anti-Addiction by MNNIT Students, Dance Performance by Prince Dance Group - winner's India's Got Talent and Speed Painting show. Opening the heart of the adience through entertainment, the speakers sowed the seeds of Positive Values and Anti-Addiction awareness.

Chief Guest - Justice RK Agrawal stressed on the role of education in creating a socio-cultural change to inspire positive value system in the youths.

Dr. P Nagabhushan, Director IIIT Allahabad added - “Simple living is always the great living, living for a purpose living with the purpose living for the divinity and nobility shall be the cause of values.” and I am very thankful to ISKCON for organizing such programs. In my opinion such programs should be organized at the beginning of academic year for freshers to help them imbibe positive values since the very inception of their professional lives."

Key note Speaker Mr. Shubha Vilas Das shared - "There is one famous saying that “the quality of communication with world outside determines my success but the quality of communication with the world inside determines the happiness”.

What is success and the first definition of success is public victory. Public victory means what the world thinks about you. A lot of people thinks success means public victory if people say I mean successful that means I am successful.

The second way of looking at success is private victory. Private victory means what I think about myself."

We're extremely grateful to our Donors, Supporters and Volunteers by whose hard efforts we could put up this program successfully and we hope and stive to organize more such events in time to come.
