Dear Friends,

We hope this New Year finds you well and that your holidays were wonderful.

Our work for the animals will continue and we need to push forward even more with educating the public on animal welfare.  In 2022 our work under Dr. Aurelian Stefan was the feature for the Veterinari in Actione series on Prima TV Romania.  It was a 12 episode series that covered the work of our vets and programs, and you can see it here https://www.primatv.ro/emisiuni/veterinari-in-actiune-20860931 (unfortunately it is not available in English).  The reality TV program was the first of it's kind for animals,  broadcast nationwide with the message of animal welfare, importance of humane treatment, spay/neuter and vaccines.

We hosted a number of students from Craiova for an education seminar in October.  These students are interested in animal welfare as a future goal. The students were escorted around the surgery suites at Center of Hope, quarantine areas, kennels, and treatment areas and treated to lunch and drinks.  Dr. Aurelian led the seminar with question and answer format and we distributed education books as well as individually autographed photos of adopted animals, before and after, for each student.  Dr. Aurelian is a bit of a celebrity now so the autographs were a greatly appreciated.

We hope you will continue to support our extremely hard work in Romania.  The region is facing an influx of new animals due to the war in Ukraine, and we are trying our very best to deal with this.

Thank you and best wishes for a Peaceful New Year!
