Dear Friends of Akili Dada,
We hope this report finds you well. We are writing to provide an update on the progress of our Angaza Education Grants, a critical initiative aimed at intervening during pivotal transition periods for girls and young women.
Our aim is to award comprehensive, multi-year high school education grants to girls from underserved and under-resourced backgrounds, equipping them with access to networks and platforms that provide a competitive edge to acquire both high school and post-high school education grants and personal development opportunities.
We would like to express our most sincere gratitude for your generosity which has allowed us to advance in our mission. Your support has been instrumental in the progress we have made so far. However, we have not yet reached our fundraising target for this project, with $20,293 yet to be raised. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to our mission and are exploring various strategies to bridge the gap.
Now, more than ever, we need your continued support. We kindly ask you to consider making an additional contribution or spreading the word about our mission to your friends and family. Together, we can light up the path to education and opportunity for these deserving young women.
In solidarity with girls always,
Akili Dada team.
