Another day to give thanks

By Frida Rivera | Lider del proyecto

Thanks to the efforts of all the people, volunteers, allied companies and institutions that have joined forces, we can continue to advance in our mission of give specialized care for the users of Alzheimer México IAP.

That is why we want to thank you, because through GlobalGiving, you are part of this hope of life and goals to achieve.

With your donation, we want to share with you some of the most important results of 2022 and that we will continue working this year:

We provided direct care to 60 beneficiaries at the day center in 2022 and our goal for 2023 is to provide care to 70 people.

We have been able to provide:

  • 9,420 meals served (breakfast and lunch).
  • 6,494 individualized physiotherapy sessions and 698 group sessions.
  • 123 in-house psychological care consultations for beneficiaries relatives and caregivers.
  • Bi-weekly sessions for family members and/or caregivers on how to improve comprehensive health care for beneficiaries.
  • Daily and weekly workshops on attention, memory, language and occupational activities such as psychomotor skills, music therapy, etc.
  • Daily availability of the "Alzheimer México en Casa" online platform.

These and other achievements were possible thanks to your kind support.

Alzheimer México, I.A.P. is evolving and we hope you will continue to be part of this great project.
