President of Janajyoti Women Group, Mrs. Kumari now uses daily the solar lamp provided to her by ECCA. The use of solar lamp has eased her daily life (during cooking and other household chores in the evening). Her children could also now study better in the evening, which has improved their education.
Earlier, they had to use kerosene wicked lamp, as there is no electricity utility grid in her village Santhali, which is located in a hilly area in north Chitwan, south central Nepal. The indoor pollution created when using kerosene wicked lamp is also now no more, thereby improving the family health.
ECCA is thankful for the support.
