ECCA provided solar lamp model “Pico” to the rural households in Punma village located in Jajarkot district, west Nepal.
Pico is manufactured by Green Light Planet, provides light which is three times brighter than the kerosene lamp and can be used for 72 hours without recharging. The solar panel of 350 mW is in-built on the back side of the lamp.
Pico has helped to displace kerosene lamp in these households, thereby making it easier for the children to study in the evening.
The villagers have expressed their gratitude for the support provided.
We thank you for your continued support.
