Alpha Edtech - First Report

By Ailton Costa | Project Manager

Aligned with the objectives of sustainable development and the commitment that civil society has in building solutions for the realization of the 2030 Agenda, with the implementation of the SDGs - promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth by offering full and productive employment, enabling decent work through access to a specialized education focused on the social mobility of individuals arising from situations of vulnerability - the Alpha Lumen Institute developed the Alpha Project  EdTech as a solution that enables young people, without distinction of gender, race, sexual orientation or ethnicity, possibly in a situation of vulnerability, access to opportunities for effective social mobility, through education aligned with the fulfillment of the demand of companies for professionals in the IT area.

The whole project is shaped in order to privilege the confrontation of inequalities, especially the class disparity, which has direct repercussions in the current structure of the labor market and job offers in Brazil, especially to young people; there is therefore no way to talk about social inclusion without the development of a level playing field for the young population of a country, access to decent jobs, and this access is invariably derived from market-compatible education.

The general objective is to generate social mobility from the availability of training opportunities for young talent interested (in a situation of vulnerability), in an area of professional relevance, specifically in information technologies.

By the end of January 2023, the following phases of project execution will be developed:
1. Opening of registrations
2. Start of the job disclosure campaign
3. Start the selection process with the development and availability of a virtual environment
4. Selection of students who will participate in Alpha EdTech
