DONORS AND FRIENDS HELPING TO MEET THE NEEDS
Happily, I would like to let you know that 10 laptops have been donated to help in this project. I am very grateful to our donors and friends who are helping us meet the needs and make a difference in our community and nation.
Until this time I am writing this report, only $105 has been donated for this project. We continue to share with donors and friends of JRMD the importance of this project for youth in Burundi and how they can be involved.
This Project will provide 350 computers to 35 schools and youth organizations. Schools involved in this project will establish their own Youth Educational Centers. This Project intends to tackle the problems above mentioned through sharing and exchanging experiences on Aids, Peace and Development. Those already affected by Aids will learn through internet how to conduct themselves in order to live more days. The none affected ones will learn how to protect themselves and how to avoid its propagation in their community and nation.
Our objective is to restore hope to a hopeless community and teach them a new way of living, behaving, acting towards different issues that affect the tosday’s youths and community.
I am very grateful and appreciative to GlobalGiving for continuing giving JRMD and Donors an opportunity to help and serve together the community in Burundi, Africa.
