Hospitals, clinics and pharmacies in Gaza face a constant shortage of supplies, equipment, and medications. At the same time, the medical needs of the people continue to increase due to extreme poverty, the ongoing Israeli siege, and Israeli violence.
We are pleased to let you know that after months of delays, we succeeded in bringing a large shipment of medicine in to Gaza last week. These medications were requested by hospitals and clinics in Gaza and will be used to treat patients free of charge. The shipment includes multivitamins, pain killers, antibiotics, medicine to treat high blood pressure, and much more. MECA worked with our partners in Gaza to purchase what is most needed.
