Project SummaryThe project targeted to raise USD $ 5,000, from 40 donors within two weeks on GlobalGiving platform, through engaging in fundraising advocate, sending emails, posting on facebook, Twitter instagram and gifts
Results
- The project has succeeded to raise $29.
- The project has succeeded to acquire 2 donors.
IntroductionWe get the idea to raise money on the GlobalGiving platform in order to address the challenge of orphans being out of school in the Tabora region. According to fhi360 show that 40 percent of orphans in Tabora region did not attend school at any time during 2010 school year.
Project long-term impactsTo protect and enable orphans vulnerable children to access education. As the World Bank pointed that the best child is the one whose is safe, well-developed and protected from risks.
Challenges
- Limited time spent on raising funds from donors.
- Lack of friends and donors from USA and UK
- Lack of volunteers from the USA and UK to raise money for our project or organization.
- Lack of staff from the USA or UK to help spread the message to donors
Opportunities
- We have the opportunity to use the GlobalGiving platform in raising funds from donors and friends
- We have the opportunity to use social media to raise money from donors

Introduction
We get the idea to raise money on the GlobalGiving platform in order to address the challenge of orphans being out of school in the Tabora region. According to fhi360 show that 40 percent of orphans in Tabora region did not attend school at any time during 2010 school year.
