CEDO signalled its commitment of protecting and supporting vulnerable school children in education. CEDO will protect and support children through providing school needs and training on child rights. Thousands of children in Tanzania are out of school and faced with acts of sexual violence. This is a problem that affects children, educationally, physically, psychologically, healthily, sexually, economically and brings permanent disabilities, deaths, loss of labor to the community. According to Fhi360 it shows that 40 percent of children in Tabora region did not attend school at any time in the 2010 school year. Providing uniforms, shoes, bags, exercise books, Rulers, pens and bicycles to vulnerable children, paying for health insurance for vulnerable school children, provide psychosocial support & mentorship to address emotional & social challenges. Foster active parental involvement in their children's education through training sessions, and parent-teacher associations, strengthen school children clubs to empower vulnerable children to become active participants in their own education & development.
