AID FOR 100 CHILDREN IN TANZANIA

Project Summary
The project targeted to raise USD $ 25,000, from 10 donors on GlobalGiving platform, through engaging in fundraising advocate, sending emails, posting on facebook, Twitter instagram and gifts. To providing basic human needs. Our target is to reach 100 vulnerable Children aged 5 to 17 years old.

Results

•  The project has succeeded to raise $ 1,254.87from 22 donations.
•  The project has succeeded to proved uniforms and notebooks to 25 school children.
•  The project has succeeded to provided pends to 30 girls from primary and secondary schools.
•  The project has succeeded to provided Boss men’s to 18 boys from primary and secondary schools.

Introduction

We got the idea to raise money on the GlobalGiving platform in order to address the problem of orphans being outside of school in the Tabora region due to poverty and lack care services. According to fhi360 show that 40 percent of orphans in Tabora region did not attend school at any time during 2010 school year.

Project long-term impacts

Children are protected, have access to education, quality services for essential needs, and have access to medical services, and psychological counseling. And we have a society that protects and cares for orphan vulnerable Children. As the World Bank pointed that the best child is the one whose is safe, well-developed and protected from risks.

Challenges

•  Limited time spent on raising funds from donors
•   Lack of monthly contributions.
•  Lack of friends and donors from USA and UK
•  Lack of volunteers from the USA and UK to raise money for our project or organization.
•  Lack of staff from the USA or UK to help spread the message to donors

Opportunities

•  We have the opportunity to be on the GlobalGiving platform that helps us meet friends, project leaders, volunteers, donors, Companies and organizations and help us raise funds.
•  We have the opportunity to use social media for fundraising
•  We have the opportunity to participate in next year 2024
•  We have the opportunity to be in the Pathway to GlobalGiving group where we can meet project leaders, Partners, and organizations that can advise and support us.
