Nourishing Bonds in Syria and Turkey is a mission led by NSPPL to deliver food baskets to vulnerable families in Syria and Turkey. The project targets those most affected by conflict, economic challenges, and recent disasters, with a focus on households with disabled members and those without a breadwinner. Our aim is to provide essential sustenance, restoring dignity and hope to these communities.
The ongoing conflict, economic difficulties, and recent disasters in Syria and Turkey have exacerbated the food insecurity crisis, leaving millions in urgent need of assistance. Families, particularly those with disabled members and without breadwinners, face the grim reality of hunger and malnutrition, highlighting the critical need for immediate intervention.
NSPPL aims to distribute 1,426 food baskets to the most vulnerable families in Syria and Turkey, focusing on regions such as Afrin, Al-Bab, Jarabulus, Antakya, Kirkukhan, and Reyhanli. Each basket contains essential food items to sustain a family, providing immediate relief and fostering a sense of hope and unity within these communities.
The project aims to alleviate immediate hunger and food insecurity, improving the overall well-being of vulnerable families. By providing essential nutrition, we contribute to the health, stability, and resilience of these communities, fostering long-term recovery and growth. This initiative also strengthens communal bonds, demonstrating solidarity and compassion in times of crisis.
