Project Report: Iqbal Day Celebration & Shaheen Sports League 3.0
Empowering Orphaned Kids Through Sports and Inspiration
To mark Iqbal Day, Alkhidmat Foundation proudly organized the Shaheen Sports League 3.0 in Islamabad, bringing together orphaned children from 13 districts for an unforgettable celebration of sportsmanship and unity. The event aimed to honor the legacy of Allama Iqbal by fostering confidence, teamwork, and resilience among these young participants, aptly named "Brave Kids."
The league showcased remarkable athletic talent, with children excelling in various sports and embodying Iqbal’s vision of a spirited youth. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including the Malaysian Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Azhar Mazlan, Vice President of Alkhidmat, Vice Air Marshal (R) Farooq Habib, and Vice President of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Aslam. Their presence added significance and encouragement for the children.
This initiative aligns with Alkhidmat’s mission to support orphaned children and contribute to their holistic development. By providing them with opportunities to engage in physical activities, we promote SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), ensuring no child is left behind.
We thank our donors and supporters for making this empowering event possible. Together, we are nurturing a generation of confident, resilient, and inspired youth.
