Children in the children's home are often confused and have no confidence because of their own circumstances and family background. But we believe that each child has different abilities and advantages, so in addition to the coursework, we also hope that children can have more exploration through the activities of talent learning, adventure experience, summer camp, etc.
In Agape Children's Home and Mustard Seed Youth Home, children are from dysfunctional families or fragile families. Away from their families and being physically or mentally hurt, children are suffering from low self-confidence and misunderstandings of themselves. It also leads them to self-denial. They don't know the meaning of their birth and existence, and won't treasure their own life value.
Learning talents is a great method to self-explore and self-affirm. Various talent courses are provided to children which building their confidence gradually. The learning process provides further chances for the social workers to understand each child better and guide them properly. In order to expand children's understanding of different jobs, we invite experts to share jobs and personal experience. Children also can expand their views through workplace visits, internship and part-time jobs.
over 40 children join the talent classes, 45 children and youths will attend the career exploration program and 55 children will participate in the summer camp.
