Dear AfricAid supporters,
Thank you so much for your support of teacher training scholarships for Tanzanian girls! We are so grateful for the opportunities that you are making possible in their lives.
This past August, students in Tanzania reported back to their colleges for the beginning of a new school year. Because of your support, they were able to begin their college education, or in some cases, start their second and final year. The opportunity to go to school is fundamentally changing their lives forever -- but more importantly, will have a ripple effect for many generations to come.
In June, I wrote to you about Theresia, a young woman who is studying to become the first female teacher in her village.
