Thank you for supporting Afghan girls with a chance to attend university;
Child Foundation had been able to expand its computer school with more graduates. Our second groups of student had graduated and third groups had already finished their registration process. We had 75 girls graduate from our computer program in our second semester.
Our classes are located in a building that we purchased last year after we received a grant from a United Nations agency to operate a school in the poor regions of Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan for youth. Through helping female high school graduates, we continue to assist them with better chance to pass university entrance exams.
This program especially focuses on empowering girls to obtain an education. The program is run by dedicated volunteers and social workers. But our job is not done yet, there are many other girls in need in Mazar-e-Sharif areas who could benefit our program.
We are pursuing other grant opportunities in order to expand our programs in other areas of Mazar-e-Sharif and hire more staff. Your continued generosity could help support the education girls need to get into university for a better chance to become tomorrow’s leaders of their community.
