Respected Donors,
Seasons Greetings…!
For many years, the Customs Healthcare Society has been providing essential medical care to Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan. These refugees are patiently waiting to be resettled in other countries, with support from the UNHCR. Recognizing the importance of language skills for their future integration and productivity, CHCS has established the Customs Healthcare English Language & Art Academy for Afghan Refugees.
English Language Classes
The Academy offers English language classes from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, catering to various age groups including males, females, and children. Presently, there are approximately 43 Afghan students enrolled in the English language program. A dedicated team of three teachers is committed to imparting language skills and cultural knowledge to help prepare these refugees for their future lives abroad.
Art Academy
In addition to English language instruction, the Academy also hosts an Art Academy with 8 students under the guidance of one teacher. This program provides a creative outlet for self-expression and cultural exploration.
Medical Camps and Relief Efforts
CHCS continues to organize medical camps for Afghan refugees, where essential healthcare services are provided. These camps also distribute food items and gifts, particularly for the children, aiming to improve their well-being and bring moments of joy during challenging times.
Call for Support
The Customs Healthcare Society is dedicated to supporting Afghan refugees by providing them with essential education, healthcare, and humanitarian aid. As the need continues, CHCS humbly requests support from donors worldwide to sustain and expand these critical programs.
Conclusion
The Customs Healthcare English Language & Art Academy for Afghan Refugees exemplifies CHCS's commitment to improving the lives of Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Through education, healthcare, and humanitarian aid, CHCS aims to empower these individuals and prepare them for a brighter future.
Thank you for your continued support and compassion.
Regards, Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah
