AIL has opened four additional learning centers this year. In the first quarter of 2011, more than 6000 students (the majority are female) attended learning centers in their communities and had the opportunity to study various subjects such as literacy, math, English, computers, etc.
Latifa, an AIL Center adult student says, “I was born into a poor family. My parents were illiterate. I attended the AIL center and learned to read Arabic. My life has turned around and I am learning to change my family’s life.”
