The cost of rent has risen to $1,400 to $1,600 for a 1 bedroom apartment in most areas. The average disabled person makes between $914-$1450 per month on Social Security Disability and that is all the income they have to live on for a month. So looking at the cost of rent and food and ultilities most individuals with disabilities eaith have to live with a family member to get by, if they are lucky, or become homeless. This quarter our donations were very low so helping any person with disabilities fell short of our goal. These donations make a world of difference to a disabled person so we appreciate any any all of the donations that you make towards this cause. Please understand it only takes one life crisis to make someone disabled, a car crash, a slip and fall a stroke or heart attack so anyone can become disabled. We appreciate your support and thanks for thinking of us when it comes to making a donation.
