Dear Friends,
AEC has now been in Tanzania for 9 months. The entrepreneurs from our initial cohort are growing. Our staff is continuing to develop and add capacity. And, we are adding 1-2 new entrepreneurs per week.
Even after working in Tanzania for such a short time, we are now one of the bigger and most comprehensive sector agnostic business development programs. International organizations are taking notice, too. Just last week, AEC was named the implementing partner in Tanzania for a USAID-funded project. We were contracted by Farm Concern International to do an internal training for their agriculture entrepreneurs. And, we submitted a winning proposal to a DFID contractor to do a country-wide entrepreneurial mapping project.
Thanks to all of your support, and to the hard work of the AEC Tanzania team, the model is working and achieving tremendous results.
We will keep you informed of our progress, especially in December, as we wrap up our first year.
Thanks so much for your support of AEC,
Julienne
