In 2021, Focus: HOPE enrolled 321 students in our job training program, totaling in $5,713,021 in economic impact. With the addition of DTE’s Tree Trim Academy and an all-new Construction Pathway, students are continuing to study and complete their program in an hybrid setting. Coleman has aspired to be a Carpenter his entire life. He explored several options including Focus: HOPE to realize his dream. Coleman’s dream came to fruition when he was admitted into the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights (Hammer 9) as an apprentice in March 2022! This is to be celebrated! Congratulations Coleman!
