In Cartagena, the reality for many babies is challenging from their first days of life. However, through the Comprehensive Child Development Center (CIDI), we are creating safe and stimulating environments to transform their futures.
We are serving 120 children who began their process at CIDI. With activities designed to develop motor, cognitive and socio-affective skills, 60% of the children made progress in basic thinking processes such as attention, perception and memory, while 50% strengthened their motor development.
Thanks to the dedication of our team and the support of our allies, we have managed to ensure that each baby receives the care they need to adapt to new environments and routines. This process not only benefits the children, but also provides peace of mind to their teenage mothers, who can continue their education knowing that their children are well cared for.
Our impact does not end here. In Medellín, in partnership with the city's Children's Development Centers, 71% of children participate in comprehensive development spaces. This is one more step towards breaking cycles of poverty and creating a future full of opportunities for our mothers and their children.
This progress is possible thanks to the constant support of our donors and allies, who believe in the importance of investing in early childhood. Together, we are transforming lives and building a more equitable and hopeful future. Thank you for being part of this change!
