In July, 120 babies, children of Juanfe's adolescent mothers, were received at the Infant Development Center (IDC). 45 of them are 3 to 8 months of age, 45 are 8 to 12 months of age, and 30 are 12 to 24 months of age.
All of them participated in the positive upbringing pedagogical method, based on mutual respect, raising with love, and non-violence. During this quarter, there were activities for the babies’ adaptation process, especially oriented towards becoming familiar with their surroundings and their caregivers. We also promoted their development through early stimulation processes.
100% of the babies show progress in their adaptation process, recognize the caregivers and have become familiar with their surroundings.
The children were assessed using the Abbreviated Scale of Development, which measures their gross and fine motor skills, their audition and language abilities, and their personal and social development.
