During the first semester of 2019, 120 babies entered Juanfe's Infant Development Center: 45 of them are 3 to 8 months of age, 45 are 8 to 12 months of age, and 30 are 12 to 24 months of age.
All of them participated in the positive upbringing pedagogical method, based on mutual respect, raising with love, and non-violence. The babies had sleep and resting routines, as well as playing activities for stimulation and activities for hygiene and feeding.
70% started complementary feeding and 80% were assessed in speech pathology and physiotherapy to detect potential alterations in their development process.
Their mothers, who are teenage mothers served by Juanfe's 360° Empowerment Program, participated in workshops related to acute respiratory infection, guidelines to correct tantrums, positive upbringing, and the elaboration of toys with recycled materials.
The babies had music-therapy aimed at stimulating their logical thinking, concentration, and language.
Finally, 100% advanced their integral development.
