                                                     Enabling a Hepatitis Free Nation.

The Health Foundation, despite the challenges faced due to Pandemic, continued to provide medicine for the treatment of Hepatitis B and C to each and every adopted patient.

As lockdown was eased, The Health Foundation has resumed its on-field operations including awareness sessions, screening/testing, treatment.

THF has inaugurated 2 new projects with the help of our supporters.

  1. Project Behbud:

Screening and treatment by The Health Foundation at Behbud Association, Clifton, Karachi.

  1. Project Kemari:

Screening and treatment of Hepatitis C patients at Kemari, Karachi.

Hepatitis Free Community models being implemented in high prevalent areas of Pakistan is already working on the key elements i.e. Identification (Screening), Prevention (mass community awareness/sensitization) and Treatment.

Till date, THF has sensitized more than 1 million target population, treated 14,670 patients and has immunized 441,339 high risk population against Hepatitis. However, seeing the magnitude of the problem this effort is like a drop in the ocean!

With the help of this platform we would like to raise much more funds to really help support THF in this uphill, challenging task to fight the menace of Hepatitis C in Pakistan which bears a huge burden of the disease (Pakistan ranks #2 in both prevalence and incidence in the world)

God bless each and every one who has contributed to saving precious lives !!
