ADOPT A FAMILY FOOD DRIVE

Through the Adopt a Family Initiative, Woman's Hope Kenya successfully conducted a community support activity aimed at assisting vulnerable families and women facing economic hardship. The initiative provided essential food supplies and sanitary pads to beneficiaries, helping address immediate household needs while promoting dignity and menstrual health management.

The distribution reached women and families who continue to experience challenges in accessing basic necessities due to poverty and limited income opportunities. The support was made possible through the generosity of donors and partners committed to improving the wellbeing of vulnerable communities.

Objectives

The activity sought to:

* Provide emergency food assistance to vulnerable families.
* Improve access to sanitary pads for women and girls.
* Promote dignity and health through menstrual hygiene support.

On 27th May volunteers and community members gathered to distribute food items and sanitary supplies to beneficiaries identified through community outreach efforts.
