Dear Donor
The last few months have been a time of deep reflection as we contemplate the way forward. With things naturally slowing down over the winter season, we had to rethink our plans for the coming summer as many of our wholesale bulk customers (e.g. small ethical restaurants) have closed down due to repetitive Covid related lockdowns.
Following the latest Covid developments, we anticipate a new round of lockdowns in the coming weeks. With much up in the air at the moment, we continue to keep things simple, small and agile (in terms of what, how, how much and for who we grow) until we have greater clarity on how to proceed.
Please also remember to visit our website and checkout our range of farm/nature inspired eco t-shirts HERE. They make for excellent holiday gifts :)
Be well, be healthy.
In gratitude

Dear Donor
This has been a busy last few months here for us, as we launched an exciting range of farm/nature inspired eco t-shirts, an online website & store and adjusted our gardens with the shifting seasons.
Please visit our website HERE to have a look and get yourself a tee or two (they make for wonderful gifts as well :)
The motivation behind the t-shirts are to drive awareness, spark curiosity and start conversations about matters and issues not only important (and fascinating) to us, but the entire planet. Also, to change perceptions around farming (and everything related to it) and to make it visible and “cool” again.
Thank you for your support and do visit our website at www.earthandman.co.za

Dear Donor
New Year's greetings to you, may it be the best one yet!
Over the past few months we have been steadily working on our mission of food sovereignty and earth regeneration, work which is enabled and amplified by the generous support from our donors, supporters and food/earth activists. Thank you!
This has included providing fresh produce to those needing it most, creating food gardens, providing farmers and growers with farming inputs, regenerating both earth and community.
We're also in the process of launching an exciting new project/offering, which includes a website scheduled to go live in the next few weeks. We will keep you posted on that.
Thank you again for your support and please share our work with family, friends and colleagues.
Sending you much gratitude and wellbeing.

Dear Donor
Quite a bit has changed since our last communication (copied below). Not only has COVID-19 and the associated lockdown restrictions disrupted our plans, it brough into sharp focus the unjust, broken and fragile food system and value chain.
In response to these intense lockdown restrictions and the urgent need of the hour and people, we shifted our focus to food relief efforts to providing the vulnerable and food insecure with urgently needed food aid; primarily to children's homes.
We thank you again for your support which has enabled us to be of service during these critical times. Our hope is that this crisis brings about the required awareness and support for resilient localised food systems that serves people and planet.
Sending you much gratitude, health and wellbeing.

Dear Donor
Thank you once again for your generous donation and support of our project Addressing both Food Sovereignty & Climate Change.
Even though we did not reach our fundraising target, we are still very happy and thankful for the $1,579 raised during this campaign through your generosity.
Needless to say, we will not be pursuing the consolidation and establishment of the one hectare market garden demonstration site (budgeted at $50,000). We are however busy doing a needs assessment of the various micro-farmers we work with and support to determine some cost-effective quick-wins that will have a major improvements on efficiency, productivity and effectiveness for these farmers. Examples of these include hosepipes, wheelbarrows, harvest/delivery crates and various tools like spades, hoes and garden forks.
Thank you once again for championing such an important cause and sowing the seeds for a vibrant and resilient food and human community.
Abundant blessings for 2020!
