Build an Activity Center for Challenged Young Adults with physical disabilities such as physical handicaps, individuals that are blind, those that suffer from cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, individuals with mental health background, patients with Prader-Willi syndrome, intellectual disability, learning disabilities and those with emotional and behavioral challenges. This project will help build a properly equipped center for over 350 weekly participants, to have as their day-time home.
We conduct daily activities for challenged young adults suffering from various conditions\challenges. Our activities focus on courses and educational events for specific professions, including outdoor, agricultural and group activities. All in order to provide new opportunities and enable the participants to feel and be an integral part of society. The new activity center will help us grow: larger and better activities, more participants, and a more suitable environment. A home!
The activities are currently held in temporary places (all in Kibbutz Tzuba), which are far from ideal and pose many limitations. The new activity center will help us grow: larger and better activities, more participants, and a more suitable environment. A home!
The project will set the foundation for a stable, long-term program for challenged young adults that will now get a chance to receive the opportunities we all deserve.
