The past few months have been busy for Achon Uganda Children's Fund, and our health clinic in Northern Uganda, Kristina Health Clinic.
With the dry season upon us, the rate of patients has increased. Thankfully, through generous donations, we're able to supply medication to those who cannot afford the patient fees. Thanks to Rotary International, we have also received furnishings for our new patient ward. Now our patients have a safe place to recover from treatment, rather than being sent aware after care.
We're now working to build a central water system, connected to both a rain water catchment system and well. This will improve our ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
The new ambulance has already transported dozens of patients to our clinic, and to the Lira hospital about 45 minutes away. The support of donors helps make this program possible.
Thank you!
