The water project at the Resource center is near completion. The water tanks have been mounted and the villagers are able to collect water from three different outlets. The outlets still need to be fully secured with concrete flooring and base to make the outlets more stable. The villagers both the young and the old were all out to provide the manual labor needed in laying the pipes. They were over joyed to see the water flow with ease and their ability to collect clean drinking water. The availability of clean water will help in reducing the incidences of intestinal worm infestation in both the children and adults in these community and reduce the cost of deworming the children. We are still in need of your kindness in completing and securing the outlets so that they will last longer.
The maintenance program at the three villages is still in progress and yielding go results. The individuals living with diabetes are making progress in areas of their blood glucose levels being controlled, reduction in progression of complications, healing of wounds, dietary and lifestyle adjustments. The number is on the rise for individuals living with diabetes and hypertension and this is putting a lot of pressure on the organization for sustainability. We are looking forward to your continued support and appreciate all that you do to help us in reaching these individuals who would have dead if not for the program
