We are getting ready for our annual medical outreach in rural areas of Nigeria. Due to limited financial assistance, we are planning to conduct the screening at four centrally located villages, that are also easily accessible by others from other neighboring villages. We are spending two days at each village, making it a total of eight outreach. We are preparing this by looking for assistance from friends and relations and donors to assist us in achieving our goal of changing the lives of many through health screening, education and maintenance of good health and disease management from one village to the next. We have total of 7 people currently on insulin and they are being followed and monitored carefully. We have been able to stop the development of complications in many with diabetes, and slowed down the progression of complications by making sure they have steady supplies of their medications throughout the year round maintenance program . The need for chronic disease management in these villages are many and help is needed to be able to help the needy.
