African Community Health Initiative have been very grateful for the continued support of organization and our mission. We continue to strive to fulfill our mission of serving the health of the community starting with caring for the body. Alongside the medical maintenance program is a food drive for participants where raw foodstuffs are supplied to those in need. As you know the COVID crisis has affected all countries with no exception to Nigeria. Nigeria is already dealing with enormous social and economic impacts exacerbating existing inequalities and creating new inequalities, which are hitting the most vulnerable people the hardest. It has affected the livelihood of many Nigerians in the villages ACHI reaches out to. ACHI trusts and has hope that ACHI will continue our medical maintenance program with food drive to cushion the potentially devastating impact it may have on our participants in the program, which in turn may affect their health in which we have been so faithfully serving them.
Again, we give thanks to all that have believed in our work, and has continuously supported us all these years. More financial help is needed to sustain this added and needed program of providing food for the hungry and the needy.
