Dear Supporters
All our learners continue to work hard to achieve their academic goals as they prepare for their final exams of 2017.
Our annual school concert “THE ASHEEL SHOW” was once again a team effort, the theme was dancing. Our dancing teacher and all the children rose to the occasion. The grades 7 and 8s held the performance together with their hosting and guest appearances. All the children thoroughly enjoyed dancing and loved dressing up.
The school hosted a very successful 5 km Silent Fun Run/Walk in September to celebrate Deaf Awareness Month. It was a lovely sunny day and everyone who participated enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Much needed funds were raised for our Sponsor-a-Child programme.
Our Primary School and Vocational classes recently had a very successful Christmas market. Children from a neighbouring school were invited to attend. These young children spent the morning learning sign language and interacting with our learners before doing their Christmas shopping.
We remain extremely grateful for your on-going support.
We wish you all well over the festive season and a happy, healthy 2018!
