Dear Supporter
All our learners continue to work hard to achieve their academic goals and continue to do very well in their sporting disciplines e.g. volley ball, soccer, triathlon and mountain biking.
We recently hosted the KZN Schools Mountain Bike event. A large number of our learners participated in the event. Cycling is very difficult for our learners to master but once they do, they thoroughly enjoy participating at all the events.
Our Vocational classes recently had their market day. They sold lovely handmade items as well as delicious eats on the day. This was an exciting learning experience for them all. The funds raised will be used for their phase.
September is Deaf Awareness month. Our primary school is preparing for the concert that will take place from 5 to 8 September. In addition to this we will be hosting a Silent 5 km Fun Run/Walk on 16 September.
Without your support many of these learners wouldn't have been afforded the opportunity to board at school and to continue to receive the specialised education we offer.
We remain most grateful to you all for your on-going support.
