Dear Supporter
Firstly we would like to wish you all a very successful and blessed 2017!
All our learners returned safely after their Christmas holidays and are ready for the year ahead.
Our intake in the pre-school has increased and we are so pleased to have so many young Deaf children enrolling. It is always rewarding to see how quickly these little ones learn to communicate in South African Sign Language.
This year’s final year learners are hard at work to ensure a 100% pass rate at the end of this year.
With your support we have been able to accommodate an additional disadvantaged learner in our boarding facility this year. She relies on public transport and often gets home very late and then still need to do her homework. Boarding will ensure she can participate in sport and still have sufficient time to study as she is a final year learner.
