Thanks for your support
Thanks for your support

Dear Alhassan donors, supporters and believers,

One of the biggest challenges facing the permanent user of a wheelchair is the lack of accessibility in their home that prevent them from carry out their daily activities in a normal manner.

“Accessibility for All in Egypt” project helps wheelchair users to overcome the challenges they face practicing their daily activities like going to their schools, workplaces or running their errands independently due to lack of accessibility.

This project aims to offer services like accessible rides and remodeling homes, schools and public places to be wheelchair-friendly to achieve inclusion and to enable wheelers to have equal opportunities in work, education, sports, etc.

One of the biggest problems facing the wheelchair users in Egypt is the lack of accessible transportation.

And because Alhassan Foundation always aims to serve based on priority to benefit the most critical cases, we have provided an especially accessible mean of transportation for wheelchair users which is completely manually driven.

Thanks to your support, more than 20 wheelchair users during the last 3 months were able to return again to integrate into their community.

Here is one of the best success stories of the Accessibility for All project.

Mustafa is a 26-year-old young man from Qena Governorate who made a tragic accident that left him partially paralyzed and completely unable to walk since 2015.

Mustafa joined Alhassan Foundation in 2019 and he was trying to find a way to facilitate his movement to search for a suitable job.

Alhassan FDN provided Mustafa with a customized wheelchair, and after that he became able to work as a cashier in one of the major stores in Cairo.

After a while, Mustafa register in the project of accessibility for all, as he needed an accessible transportation. After he received the motorcycle equipped for manual driving, Mustafa joined AlHassan Foundation team, trying to help others like him who use wheelchairs in Egypt.

Eventually, we want to thank each and every donor or supporter who helps us to achieve this success and we urge you to continue supporting us in our cause, our hope, our dream. You can do that through subscribing to a monthly donation option, which helps us secure more funds to help more wheelchairs users and their families.
