Access to school for 300 orphans at Chalinze.

Summary

The project is highly dedicated to help 200 orphan students both primary and secondary access education through providing schools materials and meals.200 orphan students available at Chalinze district in Kiwangwa ward will be provided with books, pens, uniforms and meals during a day time since they are day students, through this project will be provided with learning materials and meals especially for girls students to keep them safe from early pregnancy affecting their education right.

Challenge

In Chalinze district there a lot of students who lost their parents and ever since they have been struggling to access education by failing to obtain basic needs including food during schooling hours also they lack learning materials such as books, uniforms,pens and also school fees causing many orphanage students to wonder in streets since they did not have materials needed for school admissions leading to school drop out and early pregnancies to young girls.

Solution

The project aimed at helping 200 orphanage students to access education right, providing them with required schools materials, financing school meals during day schooling hours,paying them school fees and provide girls students with sanitary pads and protect them from streets temptation to avoid early pregnancy.

Long-Term Impact

Potential long term impact includes access to education to orphanage students,to reduce the rate of poverty since when this students are educated they will have chances to attain their dreams in life,to reduce street children by sending orphan children to schools, prevention of early marriages and early pregnancy to girls by sending them to schools and help them persue their dreams.
