Project is well dedicated in providing food access to 2000 students in 3 Kiwangwa ward schools, through planting of 3000 fruits trees, It will help in food availability and stop the problem of school drop out to students and help right to education and reduce number of street children by promotion of community income.

Challenge

At Kiwangwa ward there is food shortage due to unreliable rainfalls.Food shortage has caused huge school drop out to kiwangwa ward schools, these are Kiwangwa secondary school, kiwangwa primary school where January 2021 to June 2022 200 students dropped out of school due to difficult and poor food supply to schools and local community creating a problem of street children which is dangerous for children and they encounter many problems in streets.

Solution

The project is working to plant 3000 fruits trees to the community and school farms to ensure well supply of nutrition and food also increasing income of the community and schools to where 2000 students and community can access food. Also promoting local community to proper farming methods to increase food production also to provide environmental and forest conservation education.

Long-Term Impact

The long term impact of project is to ensure sustainable food supply to 4 kiwangwa ward schools and Kiwangwa community to stop school drop out to students and increase their performance in schools and right of children to attain education.
