We will train and certify nurses to improve healthcare delivery and provide economic mobility to at-risk populations in Haiti. A facility is pivotal to the success of our Project PREP and other programs. Small amounts given over time will help us secure a facility and conduct healthcare education and intervention programs. Do your part to improve health and education in Haiti. Be a part of something awesome.
Haiti suffers numerous healthcare disparities like infant mortality, morbidity, hypertension, and diabetes. There is a high demand for certified nurses to meet the needs of doctors and patients in quality healthcare delivery. Most nurses are not certified and thus provide substandard care to those who need care the most. The difference in salary for non-certified nurses affects household income and compounds the issue by adding economic disparity
This project will provide a platform to promote primary, preventative and holistic healthcare education in the community. In addition to seminars, clinics and other events, our facility will provide a space to educate 30 nurses yearly in the proper delivery of healthcare and provide them the certification to improve their economic viability.
This project will provide an cohort of 150 highly trained nurses and will alleviate healthcare and relevant economic disparities
