Our Education focus area aims to improve the quality of learning facilities, provide access to education for the poor, and offer leadership and job shadowing opportunities.
We have projects running in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana that focus on addressing challenges that include unemployment, food scarcity, poor education and health care infrastructure, low school attendance and dropouts due to financial constraints, wildlife poaching, and preserving natural resources.
We implement various projects in schools which include improving infrastructure, feeding programs, and scholarships. The installation of boreholes, solar power, and ablution facilities helps to create a safe and fully functional learning facility for students. Our feeding programs provide meals to learners who come to school hungry. This is helping their nutrition and, assists them to concentrate and focus at school. Our scholarships are paying for school fees for learners in financial need.
Our aim is to provide equal educational opportunities. By improving school facilities, the environment is conducive for learning and contributes to learners completing school, finding employment opportunities, and breaking the cycle of poverty. Funds raised go towards supporting projects which include: safari guides training, educational scholarships for grade 7 and 9 learners at Mangwara school and infrastructure development that improves classroom solar power and ablution facilities
