Colleen, foster Mom at our Diaper Drop Sarah's Covenant Homes, shares with us a "A tale of two brothers".
Caden and Abraham both live at Sarah's Covenant Homes in a home called Anchor. A little over a year ago we brought Abraham into our home and Caden was upstaged as the baby of the house! Caden and Abe intially did not get along and they enjoyed stealing each other's toys (like all good brothers do!) Recently they have decided that they like each other and most days you can find Abraham and Caden yelling each other's name and chasing one another around the house. Both are getting close to walking independently and once they do there will be no stopping these 2 brothers from getting into everything!
For Sarah's Covenant Homes, cloth diapers are a huge cost savings. With 163 children, all previously abandoned, then rescued orphans with special needs, diapers are a huge need. By saving precious financial resources, they are able to focus on medical care, like specialist visits for Caden and personalized therapies for Abe. Both of these options not only increase quality of life, but also increase the likelihood of adoption and forever families.
Thank you for the joy you bring to Caden, Abe, and other children just like them.
