The Amiguitos Royal Foundation is an organization dedicated to battling child hunger, and has inherited more than three decades of arudous work done by its predecessor, the Nutrir Foundation.
In 2017, 330 children, along with their mothers, have enrolled in our program. We have been able to see and monitor the progress made by mothers in many aspects of their lives, which is very gratifying for us as an organization that exists to serve its community. Given the relationship that we have with our members, we are able to observe the relationships that flourish between them, allowing them to gain access to jobs and other activities that help them overcome the socioeconomic and relational hardships that they face in their daily lives.
Likewise, the development of children is reflected in their behavior and learning through daily workshops, this is largely due to the mothers reduce their levels of anxiety and toxic stress, allowing a contribution to the potentialization nutritional and intellectual and affective development of children.
For the foundation it is essential to strengthen the bonds of trust and affection between the homes of our users, this is why the foundation through home visits, works to improve housing conditions, in terms of health and healthy living, this it is carried out with Foundation staff and with professional students from different disciplines. Equally, the foundation carries out different activities to contribute to the development and fulfillment of that objective; For example, in December of 2017 different parties were held in which a gift was given to each boy and girl, bringing much affection and joy to our users and their families. The foundation lent its services until December 15, and reopened its doors on January 18 with its commitment to creating safe and loving environments that favor the physical, emotional and intellectual nutrition of children since their gestation. Through the following graphs, you can see the changes that occurred throughout the year. They reflect the advance in nutrition of children from 0 to 5 years, their size according to their age. On the other hand, obesity, overweight and hemoglobin reached 0%, which is gratifying for the foundation.
