Children in Afghanistan face immense hardship caused by poverty, displacement, violence, and instability. Many lack access to safe shelter, nutritious food, emotional support, and essential resources. Through our Children's Support Center, this project will provide 200 vulnerable children with safe housing, daily meals, education, art supplies, and mental health support so they can heal from trauma, continue learning, and regain a sense of stability and hope. Afghan children need your support.
In Afghanistan, children whose mothers are incarcerated and whose families cannot care for them are at risk of homelessness, hunger, trauma, neglect, and interrupted education. Many lack safe shelter, healthcare, and emotional support. Women for Afghan Women's Children's Support Center provide critical care and protection, but sustained funding is urgently needed to continue supporting nearly 200 vulnerable children with stability and hope.
Without urgent funding, Women for Afghan Women's Children's Support Center is at risk of closing, leaving vulnerable children without safe shelter, meals, education, healthcare, or emotional support. Raising $100,000 will help provide nearly 200 children with stable care, mental health services, and a safe environment to heal and learn. This funding will also allow us to continue expanding services to reach even more children in need.
Investing in the Children's Support Center will build a stronger future for vulnerable children and families. Long-term support will allow WAW to expand its reach, strengthen critical protection services, and provide more children with safety, education, healing, and opportunities to achieve their potential. As part of the invest in HER campaign, this project helps grow WAW's global impact and strengthens our ability to respond to crises, protect communities, and create lasting change.
