As winter approaches, the dogs living in 190 outdoor kennels at our Ringo Land shelter in Romania need better protection from rain, snow and freezing temperatures. We aim to install durable, insulated sandwich-panel roofs that provide shelter in winter and reduce heat buildup in summer. With an average cost of 400 ($445) per kennel, our 76,000 ($84550) goal will help create safer, more comfortable living conditions for dogs who have already endured abandonment, neglect and hardship.
At Ringo Land, 190 outdoor kennels need proper roofing to protect rescued dogs from harsh weather. As winter approaches, rain, snow, freezing temperatures and damp conditions threaten their comfort and wellbeing. Without adequate protection, kennel areas become exposed to the elements, while summer brings excessive heat. For dogs who have already endured abandonment, neglect and hardship, a safe, dry and comfortable environment is essential to their recovery.
With your support, we will install durable, insulated sandwich-panel roofs over 190 outdoor kennels at Ringo Land. These roofs will protect rescued dogs from rain, snow and harsh winter weather, keeping their living spaces drier and more comfortable. The insulating material will also reduce heat buildup during hot summer days. Each completed roof will provide lasting, year-round protection, creating a safer and healthier environment for dogs in our care.
By protecting 190 outdoor kennels year-round, this project will create lasting improvements in the welfare of rescued dogs at Ringo Land. Durable, insulated roofs will reduce exposure to harsh weather, support healthier living conditions and provide a safer environment for recovery and rehabilitation. This long-term investment will also reduce recurring maintenance needs, allowing more resources to be directed towards veterinary care, rehabilitation and adoption.
